House refurbishment and extensions,Esher

The brief was to extend a detached house on a private estate in Esher to suit an expanding family. The survey highlighted that the kitchen and dining areas were inadequate for the clients needs and this was addressed with an large open hardwood conservatory. The house was extended 2 storeys to the front and side, the concept internally was to create ‘rustic’ type bedrooms with oak rafters and high ceilings as a main feature, this concept was carried into the en-suites using re-claimed materials for the floors and walls.
