Apartment & Cafe, Islington London;

The brief was to refurbish and extend a mixed use apartment and cafe building in a conservation area in London adjacent to Smithfields market. The site was very difficult to work with as there was no storage space, limited vehicle access and no parking which meant the restoration was carried out by hand. The apartment to the original building was originally accessed through the existing cafe unit and a separate access route was necessary so this could be an independant unit.
